Soccer

Today, Liverpool beat Everton 2-1 in the semifinals of the FA Cup, clinching a spot in the final. The game was a tale of goals off mistakes. In the 24' Everton forward Nikica Jelavic took advantage of Liverpool defenders Daniel Agger and James Carragher's mistake leading to a break-away goal. In the 62' the Reds came back and tied the game up, because of a mistaken back-pass by Sylvain Distin. Luis Suarez caught up with the ball and finished with ease. It was not until the 87' that another goal was created. Andy Carroll found the back of the net heading the ball of a cross. Liverpool will play the winner of Tottenham/Chelsea who play tomorrow. In my opinion, I think that if Liverpool avoids mistakes in the final they have a shot of winning the Cup.
